PT Kilang Pertamina Balikpapan is 99.997 percent owned by PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional, a Pertamina subsidiary formed as a strategic holding company in the refining and petrochemical business.
The long-term role of the Balikpapan RDMP is to support national energy independence by increasing capacity, reducing imports, improving product value, and integrating new units with revamped existing refinery assets.
